Living on purpose, following the one true path… Choices to take, what is ‘on’ and what is ‘off’. Constant pressure, will I fulfill my destiny? Will I take the right choices? Will I have the wisdom, the courage to follow my one true path? Will I…?
Another possibility glitters in the morning light… What if there is not one but many paths to one’s destiny? Each beautiful, full and yours? Each different, distinct yet each ‘on track’? What if the choices we take are not between the right and the wrong but simply between one path or the other? What if our free will is exercised not to ‘follow’ or not but to choose which way?
May it not take away the constant struggle to do it right? May it not breathe a breeze of fresh air into the freedom of our lives? May it not represent a more elegant solution – dancing our lives among the multitude of our possible destinies each fulfilling why we came here in a different way? May it not better represent the mystery and splendor of the universe and the abundance of experiences waiting for us? May it not transcend the linear way of seeing our lives towards an ever more beautiful and flowing model of the cosmos?
May it not bring peace to our striving souls? May it not help us to make our choices from a better place?
After all, they say that every road leads to Rome, don’t they?
Well put Jarda. I have been reading this extraordinary book Three Waves of Volunteers by Dolores Cannon a hypnotherapist in her 80′s and she talks about how for some people it is just about being here. Simply their energy touching people. That IS there purpose.
